This topic introduces you to what graphic design really is and why it matters. You will learn the 7 basic principles that all professional designers use. These principles will guide everything you create in this course and beyond.

This course teaches you both graphic design and logo design from absolute beginner level. You will learn how to create social media graphics, flyers, business cards, and professional logos. You do not need any previous experience or drawing skills.
You will learn design principles, color theory, typography, layout, and how to use free design tools like Canva, GIMP, and Inkscape.
By the end, you will have a full portfolio including a complete brand identity for a mock company, plus the confidence to start offering design services to real clients.
